Update On Aviv
Aviv came back into the fold after he could not manage in a multi cat household when he left he weighed in at 2.3Kg's and on return had gone down to just under 1.7Kg, two weeks on he is back up to 2Kg, it has taken a bit to get him eating properly again and his muscle tone is still a little weak but he is making good progress, and hopefully he will be back to his correct weight in a few weeks. He remains to be the most loving boy going and it is a true shame that he could not fit into this home, but an older male did not like the introduction of a young boy. Aviv will be re-homed eventually but he will only go to a single cat household or with a sibling, but we have plenty of time to make any final decisions as he has some recovering still to achieve.

How awful they left him to loose weight, hope he finds a loving home and regains his weight
ReplyDeleteHi Clare,
ReplyDeleteSadly the home although very loving hadn't the experience of how to tackle the socialisation, and if I am honest part of the weight loss was his doing as he can be quite stubburn, like his dam. I am just glad that she contacted me before it went any further, as she was having a real game with getting him to eat and also the old boy was being quite stroppy.
He is doing well in a week or two he will be back with his siblings, and taking it from there.
Take care Wayne
